Independent Examiner approves TSS Neighbourhood Plan and recommends the NP proceed to referendum

 

The Independent Examiner appointed by Ashfield D.C. has completed their review of the Neighbourhood Plan and has recommended the Plan proceeds to referendum.

In her report the examiner, Janet Cheesley of CHECH Planning Ltd, says:

"The Teversal, Stanton Hill and Skegby Neighbourhood Plan 2016-2031 has a clear Community Vision and list of Community Objectives. This is an
extremely well written neighbourhood plan. Those involved in the production of this Plan should feel proud of their achievements"

".....my overall conclusion is that, subject to my recommendations, the Plan meets the Basic Conditions. It is appropriate to make the Plan. Subject to my
recommendations being accepted, I consider that the Teversal, Stanton Hill and Skegby Neighbourhood Plan 2016-2031 will provide a strong practical framework against which decisions on development can be made. I am pleased to recommend that the Teversal, Stanton Hill and Skegby Neighbourhood Plan 2016-2031, as modified by my recommendations, should proceed to Referendum"
